One of Cebu’s top netters, Bernardine “Niño” Siso, will be seeing action in his first international men’s open tournament via the 65th Open Tennis Championship in Bahrain from Nov. 25 to 29.
Siso will not only be representing the country but will also be representing his school, University of San Carlos, in the event.
Siso will be seeing action in the Super Singles category, which is the highlight of the event.

“Maybe it’s time to get back on track and be who I really am,” Siso said when asked why he accepted the invitation.
Siso has lorded it over in the junior tournaments before he decided to lie low and prioritize his studies.
He is a graduating nursing student of USC.
Now that he is about to finish his college education, Siso said that he wants to focus in playing in the men’s division.
“Maybe, this is a start,” Siso said.
He will be leaving for Bahrain this weekend.
