Opascor finishes 1-2 in CCCI bowlfest

Oriental Port and Allied Services Corp. (OPASCOR) took the top two spots in the recently-concluded Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) Bowling Tournament held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Lanes.

OPASCOR Team A won the top honors with a total score of 2,013 pinfalls in the event where the company is also the chief backer with Marco Polo Plaza Hotel and diamond sponsor.

OPASCOR B finished second with 1,971 pinfalls followed by Philippine Health Insurance Corp. at third with 1,912 pinfalls.

The event’s gold sponsors were Anseca Development Corp., Cebu Landmaster Inc. and Philhealth.  MCRI Global Corp. and IntisariMulia International Inc. (SAJI) Cooking Oil were the event donors.  Other backers were RC Goldline and Virginia Food Inc.

OPASCOR A also took home the highest team score while highest individual score was logged by Amiel Jesus Lauron of Fast Cargo Logistics Corp. with 230 pinfalls during the team’s first game.

The event chairman was Henry Kua of Hammer Luck Hardware.  Edwin Vincent Ortiz, VP for Membership Development of CCCI was the main organizer.
