Secondary Standings 9-12

Defending champions Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) is looking to solidify its hold of the top spot as it goes up against University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) in tomorrow afternoon’s resumption of the 2014 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) Secondary Football.

Prior to the DBTC-USPF match, the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) will also be fighting to take back the no.1 spot as it faces the University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR).

DBTC had relegated SHS-AdC to the second spot last Tuesday when it defeated the University of San Carlos (USC), 7-0, and stretched its win to two in-a-row.

Both teams actually hold the same 2-0 win-loss record equivalent to six points each but DBTC takes over the top spot with its goal difference (GD) of 14 points. SHS-AdC has a GD of six points.

USJR, which dwells at the bottom, hopes to finally barge into the win column while USPF hopes to add up to its single win and improved its no.4 standing.

USC, which sits at the third spot, will be getting a rest tomorrow.
