Andrew Si scored the highlight shot of the day in the second round of The View Invitational 2015 presented by MLanders Asia Management Services Inc. as he aced hole No. 2 of Alta Vista Golf and Country Club in Pardo, Cebu City.
Si, who is the guest partner of his father, Antonio Sikimhua, nailed the hole-in-one from 160 yards. He used a Yamaha 8 iron and a Titleist 4 ball.

He told www.fullpointcebu.com that his tee shot hit a branch of the huge tree on the right and bounced on the right side of the green and into the hole for his first ace in 15 years of playing golf. “It was a loose grip, but I got lucky,” Si said.
The feat was witnessed by their flightmates Benjie Akol and Gilbert Cabataña.
Si won a Hajoue motorcycle from Norkis Trading, Php 50,000 worth of first bet coupons and Php 25,000 worth of double your money coupons from Pagcor, Php 10,000 from Island Paints, and another Php 10,000 from the club for the feat.
The tandems of Mark Dy and Andre Borromeo and Charlie Gaite and Nilo Seno remain on top of the field after the first two days of action with 76 points apiece.
The tournament follows the member-guest format and uses the Modified Stableford Scoring System. Three-fourths of lowest handicap of the players for the period of March to May 2015 will be used for the event. Those from clubs that are not members of the Unified National Handicapping System (UNHS) will have a deduction of 20 percent of their lowest handicap before three-fourths of that handicap will be taken.
The duo of Jufil Sato and Jerome Flores remains one point behind with 75 points along with Marlo Cugtas and Garry de Guzman.
Loloy Sabuga and Tetu Santos also turned in 75 points Friday. Sabuga fired 39 points while Santos of Wack Wack made 36. They also lead the contenders for the seniors’ division.
The seniors’ division is for teams whose total age is 120 years or higher and not one of them must be less than 55 years old.
Brothers Marvin and Marco Mendoza are a point further back with 74 alongside Rene Piano and George Elazegui.
Ferdinand Chua and Thomas Castillo combined for 73 points and are tied with Jude Demiar and Miguel Martinez and Edgar Sasuman and Tony Garcia round up the top ten.
At stake for an ace on Hole No. 15 are a Foton Thunder 4×2 pick-up, a Club Cart golf cart, an Atmospheric Water Generator from San Gabriel, and a trip ticket from Marist Royal Holidays Travel and Tours.
For Hole No. 8, the prizes for an ace are a Yamaha golf cart and a roundtrip ticket to Korea from Air Busan.
In case another player scores an ace, Si will have to share the motorcycle and the bet coupons from Pagcor.
There is also a Skygo motorcycle at stake for an eagle on all par-4 holes.
