Martin Mendoza (center) bagged the best gross and best net individual awards in the 2018 Business in Golf Tournament played at Alta Vista Golf and Country Club. He received his prizes from (from left) CCCI VP Membership Development Felix Taguiam, CBM 2018 Chairman Benny que, CCCI President Tony Chiu, and CCCI past president Prudgie Gesta.

Mendoza was the biggest winner in the tournament dubbed as BiG as he bagged both the best gross and best net titles owing to a spectacular seven-under-par 65 performance.
The event was presented by PLDT Alpha enterprise and Bank of the Philippines.
Mendoza garnered a total of 43 gross points in the Stableford Scoring System and 48 points net points. He edged Edwin Go Lim in the race for the best net honors by virtue of a better last six holes total.
Robin, who played for BPI 2, won the golfer of the year award. This honor is given to the company representative or alternate to the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) with the best score in the tournament.
The event is held by the CCCI as part of the Cebu Business Month celebration. It was also backed by Fast Autoworld and Duros Group of Companies as silver sponsors and Sheraton and Megaworld Iloilo as bronze sponsors.
Robin had a total of 40 points, which is four under par.
In the battle for team honors, Cebu Ivy had a total of 97 points from its two best-ball pairs. The first pair composed of Joseph Shin and Yoon Sea Gwan fired 46 points while Bruce Shin and Billy Choi shot 51 points.
The tournament format required each player to play his own ball and the better of the two scores on each hole will be the one to count.
First runner-up in the team event was Montessori School of Joy with 95 points. The duo of brothers Edward and Henry Chu fired 47 points while buddies Razi Razon and Lando Alberto combined for 48.
Second runner-up was Vanex Trading with 93 points. The duo of Ramon Sebastian and tournament chairman Nimrod NL Quiñones had 45 points while the tandem of Vicente Go and Manuel ‘Jun’ Zosa had 48.
