In the Olivarez tournament, Deja and Cero received a bye in the first round being seeded fifth.
In the second round, they clobbered the team from Lyceum, 5-3, 4-1, then earned a semifinals ticket without breaking a sweat after their third round opponent, College of Saint Benilde, opted to default in the match.
In the semifinals, the duo dismissed the pair from San Sebastian College, 5-3, 4-2, to advance to the finals.
The pair also reached the quarterfinals of the men’s doubles open.
